How does Factory Direct work?

We have Joint Venture operations with several factories in China and we distribute their eyewear from our warehouse hub in Manchester. We receive almost daily deliveries of frames from our factory network.

How come your eyewear is so much cheaper than other suppliers?

Because we are a distribution hub for our Joint Venture factories, we can sell to our customers at ex-works prices after the addition of the various importation and local charges.

How come the delivery time is 3-14 days?

In stock frames are despatched the same day. If not in stock, then your order is kept, and the frame is sent when we receive it in one of our next deliveries. Our fully integrated IT system informs the relevant factories when our stock holding is running low.

Is there a minimum order?

No, you can order just one single frame if you want.

Do I have to pay up-front?

You have 2 options. You can pay when placing your order if you choose to otherwise you can charge it to your existing approved credit account.

Are the frames guaranteed?

All frames are guaranteed against manufacturers defects for 12 months from the invoice date.

Do you only do voucher/budget style frames?

No. We have frames right across the spectrum from traditional & classic designs right through to high fashion and even those quirky & unusual designs normally only found in high end designer brands.

How often to you add new models?

New models are added continuously. Due to our Joint Venture’s, you will get to see brand new designs much faster than with your usual suppliers.

Do you only sell in the UK?

No, we have existing customers world-wide and can ship any order anywhere.

Why can’t I see prices?

We reserve our price information for our registered trade customers. If you are an existing The Eye Station customer, simply register your account online and when your account has been validated you can then log in to see our prices and the fantastic savings you will make.

Do prices include VAT, P&P and Shipping?

Prices shown whilst browsing exclude VAT. VAT along with P&P and shipping will be shown at checkout and added to your order.

Can my order be added to my existing trade account?

Provided you have registered and have received our validation notice, then at checkout there are options to pay either by credit card or have your order charged to your existing approved credit account.
